Yesterday Sequel to the successful poll of Engr Seyi Makinde as the Governor of Oyo State and People Democratic Party at the March 18 Election.

The Coordinator of DPM Movement and Honourable Oyedeji Olusegun Abayomi Supervisory Councilor people with Disability PWDs Ibadan South West Local Government area and the victory at poll to PWDs across Oyo State.

he appreciated the Deaf PDP Movement and people Living with Disabilities in Oyo State for coming out massively to vote for People Democratic Party yesterday at different PU units in Oyo State

I am so much proud of the people with Disabilities in Oyo State for trusting in Governor Seyi Makinde and returning him back to the Secretariat Ibadan and all our party candidates for House of Assembly. 

I use this medium again to promise them that this Omituntun 2.0 shall be better than Omituntun 1.0 and everyone shall benefit squarely. 

I once again commended all electorates, INEC Officials and Security Outfits for maintaining free and fair elections and attention our people with Disabilities at the PU units areas and it seems that they are respectful our people with Disabilities and no one left behind.

The Ambassador Honourable Oyedeji Olusegun Abayomi Supervisor Councilor people with Disabilities Ibadan South West Local Government is a hard of hearing Impaired Man with Professional Sign language and PDP PWDs Loyalty who is also seeking re-election for GSM Omituntun 2:0 has described the victory of the Rep-elect of Ibadan Southwest/Northwest Federal Constituency, Hon Adedeji Olajide Stanley known as Odidi-Omo as a well deserved victory that will enhanced more progress to the constituency.

Since come into Being a Federal lawmaker comes with huge responsibility because it covers more than a local government and you must be able to meet up with their demands if not all but satisfactorily to yourself and this I believe and know Our leader called OdidiOmo2:0 have been able to meet up and earned him this position for Second term at the green chamber. 

Honourable Oyedeji Olusegun Abayomi Super Ibadan South West Local Government however prayed for a successful  tenure as he returns to the green chamber while also text and call on the people with Disabilities ( Supervisor Councilors , SAs, N.G.O , Associations, PWDs Shoemakers, Marketing women and able Community to support Our GSM Omituntun 2:0 re-election as GOVERNOR of the Oyo State come March 18th ,2023 this Saturday and extend that to all PDP candidates in the Gubernatorial and State Assembly elections in Oyo.

The People with Disability Ibadan South West Local Government under the Honourable Oyedeji Olusegun Abayomi munificently commend the Oyo State Governor, Eng. Seyi Makinde without reservation for his prompt inclusion of people with Disabilities into the state politics at the grass root first of it kind in the History of Nigeria. Indeed Oyo State is a pace setter.

The body of persons living with disability (PWD) Oyo State chapter mumificiently applaud the Governor of Oyo State, Engineer Seyi Makinde for refurbishing Special schools across the state and his prompt effort at providing learning aids to improve the quality of Education in Oyo State in order to meet with global Best Standard.

 

Under the leadership GOVERNOR Seyi Makinde as First term in office ( Omituntun 2:0) Our People with Special Disability gainfully absorbed into the Oyo State Teaching Service Commission.

Additionally, in December 2021, PWD lawyers were employed into Oyo state Ministry of Justice and this year 2022, other PWD professionals were also absorbed into Ministry of Health and the primary health care center respectively.

Furthermore, 20 PWDs were given political appointments as Supervisory Counsellors include Myself Honourable Oyedeji Olusegun Abayomi PWDs Ibadan South West Local Government area to Executive Chairman and into 20 Local Government and 13 Specisl Assistants into 13 Local Councils. All these loudable Appointments were done without any reservation by Our Amiable Governor.

 All these manifestations of love have brought PWDs into the stream of Politics in Oyo state of which had never happened in History of Nigeria. 

The PWDs of Oyo State enthusistically acknowledges these good-natured magnanimity of the Governor toward PWD. Words alone can not express Our Gratitude.

 Indeed PWD enjoy the shade umbrella in Oyo state and our joy Shall know no bound if Governor Seyi Makinde is re-electend for another four years term as Governor of Oyo Stare.

In appreciation and recognition of the good and humane efforts of our incumbent governor in Oyo State, Engr. Abiodun Oluwaseyi Makinde, (FNSE), we, the body of *People Living With Disabilities* hereby acknowledge with gratitude, his numerous achievements which in the history of the State, is second to none, and best among equals.

Eleanor Roosevelt, the first lady to the United States during her husband, President Franklin Roosevelt's four terms in office, was quoted as saying,

"One's philosophy is not best expressed in words. It is expressed in the choices one makes. In the long run, we shape our lives and we shape ourselves. The process never ends until we die. And the choices we make are ultimately our responsibility."

As free moral agents, mankind was created by Almighty GOD with the ability to make choices, and his/her freedom to choose is sacrosanct, which no one can take away from him. We should realize that our choices have consequences attached to them.

This is why we need to have a sober reflection on the good opportunity accorded us in the last four years since the inception of the first term tenure of the people's governor, Engineer Abiodun Oluwaseyi Makinde (FNSE). It has never happened in the history of the State of Oyo that a sitting governor will give listening hears with rapt attention to the yearnings and aspirations of People Living With Disabilities as we have it now under the good governance of our amiable GSM.

We are indeed, highly privileged to be given notable appointments in the cabinet of His excellency, not only in Ibadan, the Capital City, but in all the 33 local governments of the State respectively.

To succinctly buttress the above assertion, let me gloss over some of these official appointments as appointed by the incumbent governor from our quarters.

Unlike in the past, Oyo State now has the following appointees:

*  Executive Assistant to the governor on disability matters - Barrister Ayodele Adekanmbi

*  Special Assistant to the governor on Special Needs - Honourable  Timothy Olufemi

*  Supervising Counselors to the Local Government Chairmen in all the 33 Local Government of Oyo State.

*  Special Assistants to Local Government Chairmen on disability matters

In light of the above, it is our responsibility to exercise our franchise on the 18th of this month, (March) and re-elect the incumbent governor, Engr. Abiodun Oluwaseyi Makinde (FNSE) for a second term tenure in order to ensure continuity of good governance with the fear of GOD; and equitable distribution of the dividends of democracy to all and sundry through his democratic disposition that has placed our dear State on great stance by the numerous modern amenities and social infrastructures embarked upon by our GSM which are completed in record time for the collective usage of the masses.

Moreover, we as people living with disabilities stand to gain and benefit more from the governor that loves us heartily. As we all know, he has dished out laudable empowerments to PLWD, and he has also given money to quite many amongst us in order to give them financial freedom so that they can have their own business ventures. And he has promised to do more, by the grace of Almighty GOD.

My take at this particular point in time is that, since the incumbent governor has delivered and fulfilled his promises to the State in his first term, I strongly believe he deserved a second tenure of additional four years.

turday 18 March, 2023 to re-elect our GSM for continuity of good governance. Don't let Oyo State fall into the hands of gluttonous politicians who lack good track records. Don't let us be put on the reverse gear to the slave market of Pharoah.

Like Eleanor Roosevelt said at the foreground, our choice is our responsibility. Therefore, let us make the right choice.

Oyo State belongs to you and I, so let us use our PVC to make our choice at the polls on 18 March 2023.

GSM Omituntun 2:0 : HOPE FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITY

As we are preparing for March 11 gubernatorial election in OYO STATE 

Barrister Ayo Adekanmbi Executive Assist on people with Disabilities , SA on Special Needs to GOVERNOR, Supervisor Councilors and SAs PWDs drums The full and maximum support to the RE-ELECTION OF GSM Engineer Seyi Makinde for the good things we have witness in his first term tenure.

He said : we are ready to canvas and mobilize for the RE-ELECTION of our Performing Governor Seyi Makinde And he love people with Disabilities in Oyo State.

 

Our plans are on ground on how to comment Door to Door campaign and forthcoming Election for our Governor and PWDs promised to Vote for GSM Omituntun 2:0 💯 again.

People with Disability are looking forward to March 11th ,2023 when PWDs vote Continuity in Oyo State. The GOVERNOR Seyi Makinde has been very friendly with people with Disabilities and Employed our PWDs 150 persons with Disabilities as Teachers in Oyo State. That is unprecedented. No Government in this state , the GOVERNOR gave approved that we PWDs should just do mere interview for PWDs rather than doing CBT . We have the Association of different clusters to present Those of them that are qualified for the teaching job. Let me also talk about Political appointments. No Government in this country, quote me anywhere, and this is our screcard in Nigeria.

Oyo State stands out as number one Government that has given political appointments to persons with Disabilities 20 ssupervisory councillors in 20 Local Government and 13 special assistants , making 33 political appointments for the persons with Disabilities in the state. 

Our GSM approved Oyo State Disabilities bill into law already.its Called Oyo State Agency for Persons with Disabilities. As we PWDs promised to vote for GSM Omituntun 2:0 so that he will appointments more PWDs as Commissioners for PWDs  , Sports, Etc 

The Federal Government's bill produced the national Commission for PWDs .we were on the bill into law already at Oyo State.

GOVRNOR Seyi Makinde is a goal Omituntun 2:0 till 2027.
