BASA ANNOUNCES GIFTS DISTRIBUTION FOR NEW YEAR EVE

BASA ANNOUNCES GIFTS DISTRIBUTION FOR NEW YEAR EVE

H.E Bolanle Sarumi Aliyu (BASA) officially announces Hundreds of Thousands of Naira Give Away for the New Year eve.

The National Chairperson, Atikulated Global Movement and founder of the BASA CHARITY, a non-governmental Charity Foundation Group has officially announced that she will be giving out hundreds of thousands of Naira to responsible Nigerians who have gotten their voters card.

She made this announcement to her Charity group and the reason for this giveaway is to thank Nigerians who know the value and power of the voters card. Not a lot of youth have voters card and without a voters card, we can not elect. In a way to appreciate those with a valid voters card, she has organised this Hundreds of Thousands of Naira Giveaway for the New year Eve.

In her statement, BASA noted that Nigerians are for some reason the problem of Nigeria.

She made a statement that Nigeria is our home and the only way to get credible leaders and the right candidates for rulers of our nation is the voters card.
The voters card is the power to elect our leaders.

H.E Bolanle Sarumi also disclosed how frustrating it is when you are trying to fight for people but they are not helping themselves to win the fight. In a nutshell, Nigerians do not take the voters card issue serious.

According to her, She’s a person of high standard who has a luxury life and should be relaxing, and spending her time and efforts on her family but choose to ensure that Nigerians vote right and bring in the right leaders into power. However, she discovered that the youths and Nigeria at large is not bothered about making the right change. She also disclosed that if Nigerians are not ready for a change of good government, why is she doing all she does?.

According to her statement, The BASA Charity founder said;

” I have an option. Many of the people in Nigeria do not have an option of another place to go to. Nigeria is your home hundred percent. However, when you refuse to get involve, We will continue to have bad leaders who will continue to ruin Nigeria for you and your children to come. If we have good leaders, the Educational system in your state would be beautiful that you would send your kids to public schools. They don’t need to be in private schools.

Many of you are sending your children to private schools and the money you pay per term is even three times your wages monthly which means you are scraping by, hustling, begging here and there to balance out to make life worth living.

How long are we going to do this for?
She also said in her statement;
What annoys her the most is the youth who are sleeping, who are not bothered and interested.

Apart from getting your PVC, she said, the next mission she’s going to be championed for come 2023 is for the youths to get involved in the political system.

She also said that the youths all need to be in the Excos of these parties. That youths who are not in the Excos of these parties will end up having those who do not have senses, who have no knowledge at all, who can’t write, can not differentiate between good and bad chosen to represent them. Why, because they will bribe the Excos and the Excos will collect money because all they know is money.

She stressed out that by the time the knowledgeable youths who are graduates and undergraduate with good sense of reasoning are chairman of wards, good aspirants can turn up for elections to be elected and then we can be able to make a better decision on who is the best person to pick amongst the people and not just the money they’ll give to blind the youths.

HOMEPERSONALITY PROFILE THE SEYI MAKINDE MANIFESTO: PROMISES FULFILLED

THE SEYI MAKINDE MANIFESTO: PROMISES FULFILLED

Since the inception of Seyi Makinde as the Governor of Oyo State, he has been working to implement his platform, The Oyo State Roadmap for Accelerated Development, 2019–2023. This approach has been followed as he prioritises the four governing pillars—the economy through Agribusiness, Education, Health care, and Security on which the map is founded. By the end of his first year in office, he had delivered more than half of the promises he had made to the citizens of Oyo State. At the halfway point of his mandate, he has achieved, and in some cases even gone beyond, the overall manifesto completion objective of 75%.

Mr. Taiwo Adisa, the governor’s main press secretary, disclosed that Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has been carrying out the commitments he made during the campaign to build a new Oyo State since his inception in office.

In contrast to assertions made by the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for governor in the 2019 election, Mr. Adebayo Adelabu, that none of the promises Governor Seyi Makinde made to the electorate had been kept, the governor’s aide claimed that in the previous 18 months, the governor had established a strong foundation for economic growth in the state and implemented policies and programmes that were lifting the populace out of poverty and into prosperity.

The statements of Adelabu are clear proof that he is out of touch with Oyo State’s true reality. Governor Seyi Makinde, as the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, made a pledge on the campaign trail that later crystallised within a few years of his governance in Oyo State.

Also, the Governor has established Primary Health Centres in each of the State’s 351 wards in relation to Free Healthcare and made it easily accessible to the residents of Oyo State. Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has made health care reform a priority in his administration. He has announced several initiatives to improve the health care system in the State. These include the establishment of a Health Care Service Commission to strengthen the State’s health care system, the introduction of a Health Insurance Scheme to provide medical coverage to indigent citizens, and the construction of additional health care facilities. The Health Care Service Commission was established to provide oversight and regulation of health care services in the State.

The Commission ensures that health care facilities in the State adhere to standards of service delivery and regulation. The Commission will also monitor the performance of health care providers and ensure that health care services are accessible to all citizens. The Health Insurance Scheme is designed to provide medical coverage to indigent citizens, including those living in rural areas. Under the scheme, eligible citizens will be able to access medical services at designated health facilities.

The State also provides financial assistance to those who cannot afford the cost of treatment. Governor Makinde launched an initiative to build additional health care facilities in the State. The initiative will focus on providing access to quality health care in underserved areas of the State. This will ensure that all citizens have access to health care.

Olatubosun disclosed that Governor Seyi Makinde’s administration had made significant progress, including implementing the current administration’s policy of Free education. Governor Seyi Makinde has taken a number of steps to reform the education sector in the State. His administration has launched the Oyo State Education Sector Investment Plan (OYOSEISIP) which seeks to improve the quality of education in the State. The plan is focused on improving teaching and learning, strengthening school infrastructure, and improving access to quality education.

Governor Makinde has introduced a number of reforms to improve the quality of teachers in the State. He introduced the Teachers’ Professional Development Program which seeks to ensure that all teachers in the State have access to the best training and resources available. The government has also launched the Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board which is responsible for ensuring the quality of basic education in the State. Governor Makinde introduced a number of initiatives to improve access to quality education in the state. These include the establishment of several new secondary schools in the State.

In 2019, Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, Nigeria, began an ambitious reform of the State’s agriculture sector. His goal is to transform the sector into a major driver of economic growth and job creation, and to improve the quality of life for the State’s rural communities. To achieve this, Governor Makinde has made a range of investments in the sector, including in infrastructure and technology. The Governor is also introducing a number of initiatives to increase the productivity of Oyo’s farmers. These include the introduction of mechanised farming systems, the provision of improved access to agricultural inputs and finance, and the establishment of agricultural technology hubs.

Governor Seyi Makinde created a more supportive policy environment for the agricultural sector. This includes the introduction of a revised agricultural policy framework, which will provide guidance on the promotion of sustainable production, the improvement of food security, and the implementation of other strategic interventions. Governor Seyi Makinde is committed to transforming Oyo State’s agriculture sector into a major engine of economic growth and job creation. He is confident that, with the right investments and initiatives, the state can become a leader in the agricultural sector in Nigeria and beyond.

Speaking on the State’s security, Olatubosun praised Governor Makinde’s wisdom in ensuring Oyo State is secure despite the State’s constrained resources. Governor Seyi Makinde has also provided patrol vans so that security forces can provide effective security in the state. The Oyo State Security Trust Fund was established, a State-wide security task force was created, and the unified command-and-control centre was launched. Governor Makinde’s security reform plan is widely seen as a success. Crime rates have decreased, and public perceptions of security have significantly improved. This has been achieved through a combination of increased resources, improved coordination, and greater public engagement with security issues.

Governor Seyi Makinde launched a number of initiatives to improve the State’s infrastructure. These include the Oyo State Infrastructure Master Plan (OSIMP), which outlines the government’s vision for development and investment in the state; the Oyo State Integrated Transport System (OSITS), which seeks to improve connectivity within the State; and the Oyo State Infrastructure Improvement Programme (OSIIP), which aims to facilitate the development of high-quality infrastructure through the use of public-private partnerships.

Governor Seyi Makinde has worked to improve road networks in the State by constructing new roads and rehabilitating existing ones. He has also invested in the construction of new bridges, such as the Akinyele bridge, as well as the rehabilitation of existing ones. He has implemented several projects to improve access to water, electricity, and healthcare services in the State. He has invested in the construction of new water treatment plants and sewage systems as well as the rehabilitation of existing ones.

Dr. Wasiu Olatubosun, Oyo State’s commissioner for information, culture, and tourism, stated explicitly that Governor Seyi Makinde had fulfilled all of his campaign promises throughout the state. At the opening of GSM Market and Artisans Marine at Saki Town Hall, he made mention that the current administration has been transparent and accountable to the public. In addition, he reiterated the governor’s pledge to make more improvements in the zones if he were to be re-elected in 2023.

Governor Seyi Makinde appears to have substantially fulfilled the promises he made in his manifesto, if not entirely, based on all the positive feedback and praise he has received from residents of Oyo State and other numerous sources. Governor Makinde has been an advocate for the people of Oyo State and has worked to ensure that their needs are met. His tenure has seen significant progress in the State and he is expected to continue to build on this progress in the years to come.

Atiku tells people with disabilities why they should not vote APC in 2023

Atiku tells people with disabilities why they should not vote APC in 2023

Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, has told physically challenged people not to vote for the All Progressives Congress in the forthcoming 2023 presidential election.

The former Nigerian vice president, who stated this while speaking at the inauguration of the PDP’s PWD National Campaign Council, said the APC has failed to implement the persons with disability’s law despite the passage of the bill by the National Assembly.

“APC has refused to implement the PWD law and you have no reason to vote APC again. I really want you to identify your membership and tell them to vote for a party that has recognized you and has given them a special place which is PDP,” said Atiku.

“Let me congratulate you on your inauguration into our presidential campaign council as well as the celebration of World Disability Day. You contribute your own quota to the economy and we in the PDP recognize you and that is why we have given you a special place in our party’s constitution and campaign council.

“Some people have said the number of persons with disability in Nigeria is 19million, 20 million or 25 million, but let’s assume you are 20million. If we get all of you to vote for us, we don’t need others then. So really, you are important to us.”

Inaugurating the PWD campaign council, the national chairman of the PDP, Iyiocha Ayu, said the party is inaugurating the council simply because the PDP understands the pain and value of PWDs.

He said: “I am happy that it is out party that is giving these special people this opportunity and if you look at our party, you will find persons with disability in top positions.

“We have a senator who is a PWD, we have a NWC member who is a PWD, we have a state assembly member as well, and our governorship candidate in Niger, who by God’s grace will win the gubernatorial election. So I want you to take this opportunity seriously and ensure our victory.

On his part, the grand patron of the PWD council, Hon Isa Liman Kantigi, noted that Nigerians have no alternative than to go with PDP if they don’t want the country auctioned.

He said: “It is on record that PWD don’t leave polling unit until they vote, and their votes count, therefore, I want to urge you all to ensure you participate fully in all campaign and mobilization program to ensure our candidate wins the 2023 presidential election.”

In his remarks, the DG of the PDP PCC, Governor Aminu Tambuwal, who was represented by the DDG of the council, Senator Liyel Imoke, noted that the PDP recovery agenda is an all inclusive agenda.

He also proposed that the D in PWD be changed to “determination.”

Ephraim Balarabe, a member of the PWD campaign council, said in his goodwill message that this is the first time persons with disabilities are being recognised in Nigeria, adding that it has shown that the “unifier” tag of Atiku Abubakar is not mere words.
