International Disabilities Day : PDP Chieftain Dr Hon Helen Taiwo-Adebakin Hails Atiku ,Celebrates PWDs
A chieftain of the People's Democratic Party(PDP),Hon(Dr) Hellen Taiwo-Adebakin has commended former Vice President and party's presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar for showing genuine concern to the plight of the People Living With Disabilities (PWDs).
Dr Taiwo-Adebakin in her goodwill message to mark the International Disabilities Day 2022 said the decision of PDP flageaer to float a Campaign Council for the PWDs was symbolic and laudable.
Adebakin, a member of the PDP Presidential Campaign Council said the effort would a long way in giving the PWDs sense of belonging and assurance that the party would prioritise their demands if given the mandate in the 2023 elections.
