Political leaders of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ibadan South West Local Government today presented incumbent chairman, Honourable Kehinde Akande Eletu as the party’sconsensus candidate for the chairmanship seat in the forthcoming Local Government Election.

In a meeting held on Thursday at Adedibu house, the party chairman, Honourable Murphy presented the incumbent to the waiting members of the party on behalf of stakeholders of the local government as the consensus candidate.

Political leaders and stakeholders who attended the meeting are

2. Honourable Aleshinloye Bankole- Former local government chairman

3. Dr Nureni Adeniran, Ex SUBEB Boss

4. Alhaja Bose Adedibu, South West Women Leader PDP

8. Mr Olajide Boladuro, erstwhile Director General/Chairman, Oyo State Gaming Board

12. Honourable Murphy, Local Government Party Chairman

13. 15 Honourable Abiodun Popoola, Assistant State Organising Secretary among others.

The consensus candidate, Honourable Kehinde Akande promised to carry everybody along as well as sacrifice time and energy to unity stakeholders in the area.

“I will also sacrifice my personal time and energy as part of the efforts geared towards bringing all our stakeholders in Igbo-Eze South together”

Meanwhile, the party leaders also agreed to return Honourable Tajudeen Adigun Atu as Vice Chairman of the local government.
